The hourly rate for our vessel is as follows:

 

Monday – Thursday $275 per hour (3 hour min)

Friday – Saturday $300 per hour (3 hour min)

Holidays $499 per hour (3 hour min)

 

*A $250 deposit is required to secure your date. This payment may be made with cash or zelle and must be paid at the time of booking. This fee will be refunded at the end of the outing if no damages are found.

*Hourly rate does not include Captain/Crew fee. This must be negotiated with you and your hired Captain.

 

Payment is due upfront, but you have the option to split the payment with guests. A $250 fully refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Deposits will be returned at the end of the outing as long as no damage is found.

 

To view availability, please click on BOOK NOW and choose your boat as well as the date and time. Please be mindful of our 3 hour window for each charter.

 

Charters can only accommodate 12 passengers Max. Hired Captains/Crew are not considered part of the 12. Additional people will not be allowed to board. Please do not invite more than 12 passengers.

 

Once your booking is complete and your date has been approved, we will provide you with a list of approved Captains available for hire that are familiar with our vessels.

Please note that Captains are separate from Luxe Yacht Club and independent contractors that are employed/hired freely by the Charterer. Captains are not affiliated with, nor employed by Luxe Yacht Club.

 

The industry standard is to leave 15-20% tip/gratuity based on the charter price (not to be confused with the Captain/Crew’s baseline hourly rate). Payment and Tip can be provided directly to your hired Captain/Crew.

We accept cash and all major credit cards.

Please note that we do not accept any payments for the captain/crew. We suggest that you reach out directly to them for payment arrangements and forms of payment.

We suggest that all parties bring their own:

Ice, Bathing Suits, Towels, Sunscreen, Food, Kitchen Utensils, Bottle Openers, Disposable cups /plates, Napkins, Beverages/Liquor

Onboard we provide a full refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and electric stovetop.

Children and infants are allowed onboard. Please note that children count towards the capacity. Children under the age of 13 years of age are required to wear a life jacket at all times. For babies and infants, we suggest parents bring their own infant sized life jackets.

 

Infant and children’s life jackets are available for an additional cost.

Yes. River cruises are available. Please be mindful that all vessels are required to travel through Chicago Locks when traveling to the River. This can add a considerable amount of time to your charter especially on days of high traffic (Fridays & Saturdays).The time lost in the Chicago locks is considered part of your cruise time.

We accept all cancellations made 7 days or more prior to your charter date without any cancellation fees. However, please note that the initial deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Cancellations made within 6 days of your charter date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, excluding the deposit, which remains non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 3 days of your charter date will incur a 100% cancellation fee, with no refunds issued, including the deposit.

If a cancellation occurs within the 6-day or 3-day window, and you have paid more than the deposit amount, the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) may be eligible for a refund depending on the applicable cancellation fee.

Any cancellation fee is subject to offset for any damages or amounts owed to Luxe Yacht Club or third parties (e.g., amounts Luxe Yacht Club is not entitled to recover or must pay regardless of cancellation).

Refunds will not be issued if you fail to show up for your scheduled charter or any related service for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Claims of unused or unsatisfactory transportation or parking
  • Denied access to the docking harbor/location
  • Failure to provide complete and accurate personal identification
  • Late cancellation requests
  • Dissatisfaction with third-party services, captains, or suppliers
  • Arrival with more than 12 guests, resulting in denial of boarding

 

Refunds that are approved (excluding the non-refundable deposit) may take up to 14 days (or longer in some cases) to be processed and received.

You should show up to your outing 30 mins prior to departure. Please be mindful of travel times, parking times and other time consuming variables.

 

If you show up late, your time will be deducted from the outing time. For instance, if you are 30 mins late to a 3 hour outing, you will have 2 hours and 30 mins remaining of cruise time.

 

No refunds will be issued due to late arrivals.

On the day of your charter, your hired captain has the authority to deem whether weather conditions are “charterable” or “uncharterable” due to weather conditions. Uncharterable weather conditions are typically the result of (but are not limited to) heavy storms, small craft advisory warnings, gale storms, strong winds, and large waves. Light rain and passing storms are typically considered charterable.

In the case that conditions are deemed uncharterable, our team will work with the charterer to temporarily postpone or reschedule your charter to a future date.
